Wes Anderson for being extraordinary. Margaret Atwood for creating new worlds. Imelda Staunton for being truly authentic.

Sex and the City, becasue the clothes are amazing and the women are sexually empowered.

What's your favourite clean joke?

It's an image of a snail looking at a tape dispenser and the snail says to another snail "I don't care if it is a tape dispenser, I love her."

"I grew up in a small village and my schools never had media courses so university was my first foray into the world of microphones and faders.  I have done a few years of producing live radio, looking after the schedule of a radio station and in those years I have dabbled at voice acting."

What are your aspirations for the future?

Acting has always been something I've enjoyed but never really pursued.  I have a technical head so I have helped out technically with a lot of projects and that's what I have discovered I enjoy the most in the studio so I believe that's what I will go into.

Could you tell us about your hobbies/interests?

Radio is my life and the moment though the satisfying thing I do is solving a problem or bug that has come up, whether it be with the play-out system at Spark FM or the website.

Which actor(s) inspire you, and why?

Gary Oldman is the best actor there is in the world, hands down.

Which music could you listen to on repeat, and why?

The Harry Potter franchise is the series I have read.  It's the perfect long story arc with shorter arcs in between.

What's your favourite (clean) joke?

What note do you get when you push a piano into a mineshaft?

A Flat Minor.

"Involved in amateur dramatics since the age of 16, no academic involvement until Northumbria University Drama BA Hons a few years ago. Love working with local companies. Have my own company Generic Girl Productions who are putting on our own full length comedy in South Shields in February."

What are your aspirations for the future?

Keep acting. Rep at Shakespeare's Globe and perform at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Could you tell us about your hobbies/interests?

Acting is my main interest, but I also love to learn other skills such as juggling, knitting, unicycling, ukulele, drumming, singing and going to see a lot of theatre.

Which actor(s) / director(s) / writer(s) inspire you, and why?

Amazing local actors/directors/writers inspire me the most, knowing they work hard and are also great down to Earth lovely people on top of being amazingly talented. Eg - Actor: Viktoria Kay, Director: Jackie Fielding, Writer: Rachael Walsh.

Which book is your favourite, and why?

I don't do favourites, but I recently very much enjoyed reading the Hunger Games (BUT I HATED THE FILMS). And also the book True and False by David Mamet really gave me an awakening while studying drama.

What's your favourite (clean) joke?

How does Moses make tea? Hebrews it! Eh? EH!?

David Foster - Brian

"Started in Amateur Theatre at 12 years old, studied performing arts in school and college before gaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours in Drama in 2008. Worked consistently since then as a professional actor in film and on stage."

What are your aspirations for the future?

Just to keep at it and working away.

Could you tell us about your hobbies/interests?

I also write and direct, but beyond that I maintain a distance between my performing career and my private life.

Which actor(s) inspire you, and why?

Too many to mention - but I focus more on the individual performances than the number of times the actor is on screen. Gary Oldman is pretty good though, a true chameleon.

Which music could you listen to on repeat, and why?

I usually listen to film music on repeat as it helps me think, but generally I change so often that I don't really have anything to go back to. It keeps my tastes eclectic.

What's your favourite (clean) joke?

I don't have one, because jokes should only be said and heard once so I've forgotten them to enjoy over again.
